Myobrace® Interceptive Class III Stage 3 - i-3H
The i-3H focuses on final alignment of the teeth, while retaining the arch form, breathing and myofunctional habits, for Class III patients in the mixed dentition. By this stage of treatment, patients' teeth will be mostly aligned and, therefore, the i-3H can be used to finalise any remaining mild malocclusion.
Myobrace® Interceptive Class lll is a three-stage appliance system designed specifically to correct poor oral habits while limiting the excessive lower jaw development problems commonly associated with patients who have Class lll. Myobrace® Interceptive Class lll is most effective before a child's permanent teeth are coming through (ages 5to 8} and is available in three sizes.
The majority of our children will develop crowded teeth and incorrect jaw alignment, Modern research has shown that mouth breathing, tongue thrusting, reverse swallowing and thumb sucking-known as incorrect myofunctional habits-are the real causes of crooked teeth. These habits limit the development of the child's jaws and face resulting in orthodontic problems. These causes cannot be corrected with fixed braces.
The design features of the i-3H are suited to finalise dental alignment, while retaining arch form, breathing and myofunctional habits in Class III patients in the mixed dentition.
Firm polyurethane construction-provides excellent tooth alignment and retention.
Hollow tongue tag,tongue guard and elevators-train the tongue to position properly.
Small breathing holes and dual arch form -prevent mouth breathing {a common problem in Class lll patients}
